Traditional Funeral Options

The traditional service with visitation remains the most commonly selected service we offer.  The visitation, sometimes called the viewing, is a time for family and friends to support one another in their time of sorrow. The body is present in an open or closed casket allowing you and others to acknowledge the reality of death and to say goodbye.

At a traditional funeral, a member of the clergy officiates the service in the funeral home or in the church. The family decides whether the service is to be public or private. A procession to the cemetery follows, where a brief committal service at the gravesite concludes the ceremony.

All service offerings include our Basic Services of the Funeral Director and Staff.  This includes, but not limited to, professional services of the funeral director and staff to provide 24 hour availability to respond to initial request for service; arrangement conference with family or responsible party; preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits; recording vital statistics; preparation and placement of obituary notices; coordinating service plans with clergy, cemetery, crematory and other parties involved in final disposition of deceased; assistance with insurance claims, veterans and survivors benefits and expenses related to our facilities.
