Angelo P. Giacomantonio, 88, of Scenery Hill, died Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at his home.
He was born March 15, 1928 in Woodville, Ohio, a son of Samuel and Giovanna Turco Giacomantonio.
A veteran, he served with the U.S. Army as a corporal during Korean War.
Mr. Giacomantonio retired as a foreman from Beth Energy Mines.
He was a member of the Sons of Italy, Cokeburg.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Dorothy Nelson Giacomantonio; children, Ricardo Giacomantonio of Lone Pine, David Giacomantonio (Jody) of Scenery Hill, Pam Giacomantonio and Angela McCann (John), all of Bentleyville; grandchildren, Gina, Dean, Rikki, Robert, Samuel, Nicholas and Pamela Jordan; great-grandchildren, Emma, Cameron, Joshua and Aiden and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are brothers, Louis and Ugo Giacomantonio.
Friends are welcome from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255. Private services will be held with the Rev. Peter D. Asplin. Interment in Scenery Hill Cemetery.
