Cecelia Dorazio

On December 21, 2017, beloved sister and friend, Cecelia Yerace Dorazio, age 89, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by family and friends.

Cecelia, known by most as “Cil”, was the daughter of the late Bruno Dorazio and Lena Gallo Yerace.

She was the beloved wife of the late Angelo Dominick Dorazio and sister of Felix (Eileen) Yerace.

On October 25, 1949 she married of 62 years, Angelo Dorazio who died on December 2, 2011.

A Washington county native and a Realtor for 40 years Cil dedicated her life loving her husband and her cats. She was always there when her family or friends needed support, advice or just a kind word.

She will also be remembered for her love of cooking, gardening, music, animals, playing the accordion, organ and her adventurous spirit.

Friends are welcome from 9 to 10 a.m., Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a blessing service will follow at 10 a.m., with the Reverend Edward L. Yuhas, officiating. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Washington Area Humane Society, PO Box 66, Eighty Four, PA 15330.
