Edna Mae Hoffman Sadosky, 88, of Charleroi, died Tuesday morning, March 17, 2015 at Monongahela Valley Hospital.
She was born August 17, 1926 in Fairhope, Washington Township, Westmoreland County, a daughter of Clarence and Bessie Hileman Hoffman.
She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 1809 Women's Auxiliary of Bentleyville and former member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary of Roscoe.
On July 9, 1970 in Cumberland, Maryland, she married Wallace A. "Bill" Sadosky, who died August 26, 2002.
Surviving are a daughter, Esther Burke of Jeannette; step-son, Larry Sadosky; step-daughter, Sharon Roberts; brothers, Ray Hoffman of Belle Vernon and David Hoffman of Claridge; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a brother, Clarence Hoffman and sisters, Anna Horner and Virginia Andrako.
Friends are welcome from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 20 with the Rev. Randy Sweet, officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Creek Cemetery, Fallowfield Township.
