Edwena Branch

Edwena “Aunt Rene” Perkins Branch, 90, of Ellsworth, died Monday morning, July 17, 2017 at her home.

She was born May 31, 1927 in Cokeburg, a daughter of Gordon and Julia Robison Perkins.

Mrs. Branch was a 1947 graduate of Ellsworth High School and a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church, Bentleyville.

For 28 years, she worked for H.M. Stephens Co. at The Meadows as a kitchen supervisor.

Her husband, Robert W. “Boss Rhino” Branch, Sr., died November 11, 2000.

Surviving are her son, Robert W. Branch, Jr. of Ellsworth; grandson, Robert Branch III; great-grandchildren, Robert Branch IV, Emoni Spencer and Olivia Branch and several nieces and nephews.

Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 22, 2017 with the Rev.
