John Delegram Obituary

John Anthony Delegram, Jr., 84, of Ellsworth, died Saturday evening, September 5, 2015 at Consulate Health Care, Canonsburg.

He was born September 1, 1931, in Ellsworth, a daughter of John and Mary Gigliotti Delegram.

He was a graduate of Ellsworth High School and attended Penn Commercial in Washington.

A veteran, Mr. Delegram served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

He formerly worked for Bethlehem Mine in the accounting department and later worked at the Washington County Health Center in the purchasing department.

He was a member of the Ave Maria Parish and the Knights of Columbus Council 5826 of Bentleyville.

Surviving are his wife, Anita Corona Delegram; daughter, Christine Farrell of Pittsburgh and son, Anthony Joseph Delegram of Scenery Hill; three grandsons, Michael, Chris and James Farrell and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two brothers, Frank and Joseph Delegram and six sisters, Vera Bronson, Louise Sindrich, Rose Belcastro, Angeline Costa, Madeline Bright and Mary Ross.

Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 9, 2015 followed at 10 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial in Ave Maria Church, Bentleyville, with the Reverend Edward L. Yuhas, as celebrant. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela with military rites by American Legion Post 165, Bentleyville.
