Mildred Ritzo Obituary

Mildred M. Nemeth Ritzo, 82, of Scenery Hill, died Monday, December 1, 2014 at Washington Hospital.

She was born January 17, 1932 in Peckville, a daughter of Mike and Anna Yencho Nemeth.

Mrs. Ritzo was a member of the Pigeon Creek Presbyterian Church, Eighty Four.

She was also a member of the Bentleyville Democratic Women's Club and the Washington VFW Women's Auxiliary.

Surviving are a daughter, Beverly Sumney (Scott) of Bentleyville; daughter-in-law, Cathy Ritzo of Virginia Beach, Virginia; grandchildren, Bradley Parola, Brandon Ritzo (Meghan), Jonathan Ritzo, Grace Sumney and Jared Ritzo; brother, John Nemeth of West Milford, New Jersey; brother-in-law, Joe Shriner of Bentleyville; sister-in-law, Irene Nemeth of Tucson, Arizona and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are her husband, James Ritzo; son, John Ritzo; brother, Mike Nemeth and sister, Ann Shriner.


Friends are welcome from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville and from 11 a.m. until noon, the hour of service, Friday, December 5, at the Pigeon Creek Presbyterian Church, 45 Church Road Eighty Four, with Rev. Eric Powell, officiating. Private burial in Beallsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pigeon Creek Presbyterian Church.
