Patricia Wilson Obituary

Patricia A. O’Neil Wilson, 69, of Coal Center, West Pike Run Township, died Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Jefferson Hospital, Jefferson Borough.

She was born December 2, 1946 in Charleroi, a daughter of the late Robert L. and Doris Donaldson O’Neil.

A 1964 graduate of California High School, Mrs. Wilson then attended the Douglas Business School in Monessen.

She retired from Ferro Corporation in Washington, where she worked as a secretary.

She enjoyed the Monday night card club.

An avid member and president of the California Area School District Foundation, Mrs. Wilson also was active with the California High School Reunion Committee and the California Area Historical Society.

Surviving are her husband, William A. Wilson; a beloved granddaughter whom she raised, Kacee L. Caster of Coal Center; brother, Jack O’Neil (Darlene), all of Coal Center; niece, Beth Ann O’Neil; great-niece, Christine Marie Goodwin; step-sons, William A. Wilson (Vickie) of Graysville and Sam Wilson of Spraggs; step-grandsons, Caleb, Jacob and Dylan Wilson; special family friend, Rosella DuBarr and many cousins and friends.

Friends are welcome from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 9, 2016 with Rev. Candace Cook, officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Creek Cemetery, Fallowfield Township. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to California Area School District Foundation, PO Box 531, California, PA 15419.
