Paul A. Hammers, 70, of Centerville Borough, died Friday morning, January 6, 2017 at his home.
He was born May 13, 1946 in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of the late Edgar and Melissa Davis Hammers.
He was a 1966 graduate of the Monongahela High School.
A veteran, Mr. Hammers served with the U.S. Army as a Private during the Vietnam War.
He worked as a scheduler for Corning Glass Works, now World Kitchen, in Charleroi.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra Lynn Lilly Hammers; son, Wells Hammers (Debbie) of Centerville; daughter, Bobbie Jo Zelenick (Jeff) of Centerville; grandchildren, Tyler and Jennifer Zelenick; siblings, Mary Lou Palmer (Dick) of Girard, Ohio, Isabelle Lynn (Eugene) of Belle Vernon, Homer Hammers (Lois) of Beckley, West Virginia and Wells Hammers (Cheryl) of Medina, Ohio; sister-in-law, Rosemary Hammers of Florida; step-grandson, Jason Paulick (Nikki); step-great-children, Evan and Victoria Paulick and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are brothers, Dave Hammers and Harry Hammers and a sister Leah Rogenski.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2017 with Pastor Max Miller, officiating.
