Paul Puskarich

Paul Puskarich, 87, of Bentleyville, died Friday afternoon, January 16, 2015 at the Washington Hospital.

He was born February 8, 1927 in Bentleyville, a son of Joseph and Anna Puskarich.

He was a self-employed dairy farmer on the family farm in Bentleyville. He also was a retired coal miner from Bethlehem Mines, Cokeburg mine.

A veteran, Mr. Puskarich served with the U.S. Army during World War II.

He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 1809 in Bentleyville, United Mine Workers of America Local 1197 and the St. George Croatian Lodge in Cokeburg.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are seven brothers, Joseph, Jr., Andy, Frank, George, Mike, John and Charles Puskarich and two sisters, Mary McAleer and Anna Puskarich.

Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a blessing service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 19, 2015 with the Reverend Edward L. Yuhas. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela with military honors by American Legion Post 165, Bentleyville.
