Paul J. Vahaly, 60, of Bentleyville, died Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the Monongahela Valley Hospital.
He was born December 19, 1955 in Washington, a son of the late Joseph Paul and Helen Hudock Vahaly.
In 1973, he graduated from the Mon Valley Catholic High School and was a member of Ave Maria Parish, Bentleyville.
Paul was the owner and operator of the former Bentworth Ambulance Service.
His community service included; current board member and treasurer of the Greater Washington County Food Bank, a lifetime member of the Ellsworth Volunteer Fire Department, a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union St. George Lodge 354, Cokeburg and a former supervisor for Somerset Township.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara C. Seighman Vahaly; son, P.J. Vahaly (Shalee Schnore) of Bentleyville; granddaughter, Paisley Jade Vahaly; brother, Gregory Vahaly (Carol) of Bentleyville and nephews, Joseph and Vincent Vahaly.
Deceased is his longtime companion, Princess Jasmine.
Friends are welcome from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255. There will be no funeral service.
