Rick Organiscak

Richard J., also known as Rick or Rich, Organiscak, 56, of Kahului, Hawaii, died Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Maui (Hawaii) Memorial Medical Center, due to injuries received in a vehicle accident.

He was born May 17, 1958 in Washington, a son of Violet Frank Organiscak of Bentleyville and the late Frank Organiscak, Sr.

In 1977, he graduated from Bentworth High School.

For 23 years, Richard lived in Garner, North Carolina and worked at Fluor Maintenance Group for IBM in Durham, North Carolina.

He lived in Hawaii for the two and half years and worked for Joslin Group.

He was a member of St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church in Kihei, Hawaii.

An avid motorcyclist, Richard enjoyed riding around the island of Maui.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are siblings, Renee Lyons (Jim) of Altoona, Cheryl Barath (the late John) of Brownsville, Mary Jo Rudy of Bentleyville, David Organiscak (Debbie) of Warrensburg, Missouri and Lori Organiscak of Clayton, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Debbie Aaron (Bruce) of West Newton; several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Deceased, in addition to his father, are brother, Frank Organiscak, Jr.; sister, Linda Lee Organiscak, who died in infancy; paternal grandparents, John and Catherine Organiscak; maternal grandparents, George, Sr. and Emma Frank and nieces, Nicole and Natalie Rudy.

Friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a prayer service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, April 13 followed at 10:30 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial in Ave Maria Church, Bentleyville, with the Reverend Edward L.
