Rick Wright, Jr.

Richard D. “Rick” Wright, Jr., 55, of Bentleyville, died unexpectedly Sunday morning, April 12, 2015 at his home.

He was born February 21, 1960 in Washington, a son of Richard D. “Dick” Wright, Sr. of Eighty Four and the late Mildred Irene Moore Wright.

He was a graduate of Bentworth High School and Slippery Rock University.

Rick worked for the Peters Township Parks and Recreation.

He was a member of the Laborers Union, the F. and A.M. Lodge 237 in Beallsville, the National Pike Steam, Gas and Horse Association, SNPJ in Imperial and for 12 years participated in the Blue Riders.

Rick was an avid hunter, fisher and a fan of NASCAR.

Also surviving are two sisters, Penny Wright and Jody Barker (Harry), all of Eighty Four; niece, Baylee Wright; longtime companion, Kathy Rakosky of Bentleyville and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends are welcome from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 16 with Rev. Willie Bishop, officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blue Ride Fund, “In Memory of Rick Wright”, P.O.
