Terry Ashcraft

Terry C. Ashcraft, 68, of Charleroi, Fallowfield Township, died Sunday, July 10, 2016 at the Jefferson Hospital, Jefferson Hills.

He was born December 21, 1947 in North Charleroi, a son of the late Clarence G. and Virginia Sickels Ashcraft.

He was a 1965 graduate of Monongahela High School.

Terry retired from the former Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, where he worked as a welder at the Allenport plant.

He was a member of the United States Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees and had an avid interest in antique automobiles.

His wife, Linda McGavitt Ashcraft, survives. They were married September 7, 1968 in California, PA.

Also surviving are sons, Terry C. Ashcraft, Jr. (Lanette) of Finleyville and Thomas Lee Ashcraft (Michelle) of Fallowfield Township; grandchildren, Thomas Lee Ashcraft, Jr. (fiancé, Christine Jordan), Carly Rae Ashcraft and Samantha Nicole Ashcraft; great-granddaughter, Scarlett Anne Ashcraft; sisters, Virginia Kisiday of Long Branch, Karen Mankey of Washington and Nancy McMurdy (Jay) of Beaver Falls; special family friend, Deborah Brady of Coal Center; his dog, Buddy and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are brothers, Russell S. Ashcraft and Kenneth G. Ashcraft.

Friends are welcome from 12 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 13 at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a service will follow at 6 p.m. with Rev.
