Velma Rollison Obituary

Velma J. Dobos Rollison, 82, of Stockdale, died Saturday evening, January 27, 2018 at her home.

She was born August 25, 1935 in Glassport, a daughter of George and Mary Dobos.

For 14 years, Mrs. Rollison served as a Sister with the Order of Saint Benedict in Warren, Ohio.

She served as mayor of Dunlevy for many years and was past president of Tri County Borough Association.

Surviving are three children, BenÃ© Strope (John Shemasek) of Stockdale, Roby Rollison (Jennifer) and Keri Marie Rollison; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Janov of North Versailles and Sister Marion Dubos, O.S.B. of Pittsburgh and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband Robert Rollison; daughter, Valarie Rollison; grandson, Michael Strope and two sisters, Ann Kula and Melvina Prokopchak.
