Edna Anna Wolverton Harris, 95, of Bentleyville, went to be with the Lord Monday, April 2, 2012 at the Bentleyville Personal Care Home, with her daughters by her side.
She was born February 3, 1917 in Clarksburg, West Virginia, a daughter of Beldon and Ida May Hickenbottom Wolverton.
She was a member of the River of Life Christian Fellowship in Ellsworth and a former member of the Bentleyville Wesleyan Mission Society.
Her husband, Vergil L. Harris, died June 1, 1991.
Surviving are five daughters, Barbara L. Bailey (Kenny) of Orma, West Virginia, Virgle Lea Myers of Bentleyville, Kathy Malarkey (Floyd) of Ellsworth, Dreama Daniels of Ontario village and Lori Wheatley (Michael) of Charleroi; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was the last of her immediate family.
Deceased are two children who died in infancy, Vada Ellen Harris and Robert Neil Harris; four brothers George, Howard, Melvin and Everett Wolverton.
Friends are welcome from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 4 at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where services will being at 2 p.m. with Pastor Paul Mitchell, officiating. Private internment in Beallsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the River of Life church. I’m so sorry for your loss. When visiting Pennsylvania, with my father, seeing Edna was always one of the highlights. She will be missed.

Drema, Kathy, Virgle, and Families, You have my deepest condolances.Know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.I would love to have come and brought my mom ,I am in State College and leaving for Camp Hill in the morning.
