Bill Wilson

William (Bill) Arthur Wilson II, 74, of Coal Center, West Pike Run Township, died Saturday, March 17, 2018, in Rolling Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Waynesburg, Greene County.

He was born June 6, 1943, in Canonsburg, a son of the late William and A. Virginia Williams Wilson.

Mr. Wilson was a 1962 graduate of Peters Township High School.

He retired in 2006 from Drakenfeld/Ferro Corporation in Washington, after 29 years of service.

Mr. Wilson was a member of the Roscoe Presbyterian Church, where he was an ordained Elder.

He was a 32nd Degree member of the F&AM Blue Lodge 615 in Charleroi and through the Masons, assisted with the Meals on Wheels in Charleroi.

He was also a member of the Dormont-Mount Lebanon and East Monongahela Sportsmen’s Clubs where he enjoyed competition shooting.

Mr. Wilson enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, watching westerns, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his cat, Toby.

Surviving are his sons, William (Vicki) Wilson III of Graysville and Samuel (Evalena) Wilson of Spraggs; his beloved grandchildren, Roxanna (Claude) Roberts, Angela (Zack) Wilson, Kacee L. Caster, Caleb, Jacob, and Dylan Wilson; a brother-in-law, Jack (Darlene) O'Neil; a niece, Beth Ann O'Neil; a great-niece, Christine Marie Goodwin; and a special family friend, Rosella DuBarr.

Mr. Wilson is preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Sue Carper Wilson and second wife, Patricia O'Neil Wilson.

Friends are welcome from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, March 22 with the Reverend Candace Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Creek Cemetery, Fallowfield Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Roscoe Presbyterian Church, PO Box 716, Roscoe, PA 15477.
