Clyde Bane, Jr, 93 of Ellsworth, died Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the home of his son.
He was born March 10, 1925 in Bentleyville, a son of Clyde and Ethel Huffman Bane
For over 44 years, Mr. Bane worked for Bethlehem Mines, mine 51 in Ellsworth as an equipment operator.
He was a member of the Eagles 1809 in Bentleyville.
His wife, Mary A. Farrier Bane, died June 1, 2004. They were married December 20, 1948 in Oakland, Maryland.
Surviving are a son Gary C. Bane (Harriet) of Bentleyville; grandchildren, Diane Trotta (Adam) and Gary Bane, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Clayton Ball, Bethany and Caleb Trotta; brother, Norman Bane of Ashtabula, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are his brothers Harold “Punkin” Bane and James Bane and a sister, Edna Lowther.
Friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, May 7, 2018 with the Pastor Andy Scott, officiating. A procession will follow to Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora for a committal service.
