Frances S. Zarlino Pistilli, 86, of Bentleyville, died Sunday morning, November 26, 2017 at Townview Health and Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg.
She was born October 10, 1931 in Richwood, West Virginia, a daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Cartino Zarlino. Shortly thereafter she moved to Ellsworth, where she graduated from high school in 1949.
Her first job was at RCA Victor in Canonsburg. Later she worked as a secretary for the Rebarich Insurance Company in Bentleyville. She ended her career at age 83, retiring from Giant Eagle in Bentleyville.
She was a faithful parishioner at St. Clements, St. Lukes and most recently the St. Katharine Drexel Parish.
On November 3, 1979 at the former St. Clement Catholic Church in Ellsworth, she married the love of her life, Mario Pistilli, with whom she spent five wonderful years before his death on May 24, 1985.
Surviving are a sister, Joanne Marcini (Nathan) of Streetsboro, Ohio and brothers, Ralph Zarlino (Patricia) of Parma, Ohio and James Zarlino (Darlene) of Shalersville, Ohio, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and friends.
Deceased in addition to her parents and husband are sisters, Clara Ross Ramsey and Catherine Smith and Clara Ross Ramsey and brothers, Joseph Zarlino, George Zarlino, and Donald Zarlino.
Friends are welcome from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville (724-239-2255), followed at 11 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Katharine Drexel, Bentleyville Campus (formerly Ave Maria), 126 Church Street, Bentleyville, with the Reverend Edward L.
