Helen Hazuga Kurowski, 87, of Eighty Four, died Tuesday evening, April 17, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
She was born October 11, 1930 in Ellsworth, a daughter of John and Mary Pavlicin Hazuga.
Mrs. Kurowski was a member of the St. Katharine Drexel Parish
Surviving are her husband, Edward Kurowski; three daughters, Nancy Kurowski (Brady Byrd) of Baldwin Township, Vivian Kurowski (Bob Fadick) of Buda, Texas and Renee McCrea (James) of Pittsburgh and several nieces and nephews.
She was the last of her immediate family.
Deceased are her brothers, John and Steve Hazuga and sisters, Margaret Lenhart, Mary Lou Davis, Sophie Rusilko, Sue Yodski, Irene Mars and Anna Dean
Friends are welcome from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a prayer service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, April 21, 2018 followed at Noon by a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Katharine Drexel, Bentleyville Campus (formerly Ave Maria), 126 Church Street, Bentleyville, with the Reverend Jeremy J. Mohler, parochial vicar, as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Luke Cemetery, Bentleyville. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mrs. Kurowski’s name may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Attn: Office of Development, 2900 N.
