Friends are invited to a Memorial Service at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Wright’s United Methodist Church, 788 Venetia Road, Venetia. A social and lunch will follow at the church.

John Paul Boehme, 66, Bentleyville, died Wednesday evening, July 12, 2017 in his home with his family by his side.

He was born April 2, 1951 in New Eagle, a son of the late John Paul Boehme and Norma Harvey Boehme.

He was a graduate of Charleroi High School.

Mr. Boehme retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh, Allenport mill, where he worked as a roller.

He was a member of Wrights United Methodist Church in Venetia, Allenport Rod & Gun Club, Slovak Club and Slovak Beneficial Society, both of Roscoe, Young Men’s Club of California and the Music Club of Belle Vernon.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his three children, John Paul Boehme (Christy) of McConnellsburg, PA, Dawn Sheree Bassett of Windber, PA and Jesse Bryant Boehme (Elizabeth) of Charleroi; grandchildren, Jacob and Jensen Boehme, Brittany and Brooke Bassett; great-grandchildren, Maci and Kendall; sister, Adele Jean Wheatley of Charleroi and his former wife, Kimberly Sphar Boehme.
