Michael Bosnyak

Michael T. Bosnyak, 70, of North Port, Florida, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018, in his home.

He was born March 18, 1947, a son of Shirley J. Bosnyak, of Eighty Four, and the late Robert V. Bosnyak.

He was a graduate of Bentleyville High School, served four years in the U. S. Coast guard from 1965 to 1969, and graduated from California University of Pennsylvania.

Michael was a manager at Publix for 25 years before retiring in 1999 for health reasons.

He was an avid fan of all Pittsburgh sports and had many interests.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife Donna and three children, Michael Bosnyak, Michelle Bosnyak Dieter and Robert Bosnyak; three grandchildren, all of Florida; two sisters, Janet Stevenson of Charleroi and Virginia Shamitko of Meadowlands; a brother, Robert M. Bosnyak of Marianna; nephews Robert Stevenson and Logan Bosnyak; a niece JoMarie Giorgi and several great nieces and nephews.

A rite of passage will take place in Florida at the convenience of the family.
