Alan M. Puskarich, 27, of Las Vegas, Nevada and formerly of Scenery Hill, died unexpectedly Thursday, August 13, 2009 at his home.
He was born May 1, 1982 in Washington, the loving son of Gary and Deb Greyhosky Puskarich of Scenery Hill.
Alan was a 2000 graduate of Bentworth High School, where he played football, basketball and baseball. He attended California University of Pennsylvania for four years and studied graphic communications.
He had worked as a bartender at the Tuscany in Las Vegas.
Alan enjoyed motor cross and was a member of American Motorcycle Association.
He was a former member of Ave Maria Parish.
A fun loving guy, Alan always brightened everyone's life with his great smile.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, Ryan Puskarich of Las Vegas and paternal grandmother, Kay Stechly Puskarich of Ellsworth.
Deceased are his maternal grandparents, Peter P. "Pete Grey" and Theresa M. Kuhar Greyhosky and paternal grandfather, Frank "Swifty" Puskarich.
Friends are welcomed from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville (724-239-2255), where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, August 21 with the Rev. Gary W. Krummert, pastor of Ave Maria Parish, officiating. Entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. For those unable to attend, condolences can be sent at www.thompson-marodi.com.
