Alana Marie Gordon King, 72, of Bentleyville, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026 in her home.
She was born March 5, 1954 in New Eagle, a daughter of the late Albert W. Gordon and Anna Mae Merichko Gordon.
A 1972 graduate of Bentworth High School, Alana was a member of Saint Katharine Drexel Parish.
During her working career, she was a clerk at Sears in Washington, a waitress at the American Truck Stop in Bentleyville, and a bartender at the American Legion Post 165 in Bentleyville.
Her husband, Mark D. King, passed away October 30, 2025.
Alana and Mark enjoyed the outdoors with cross-country trips and camping, visiting National Parks, including the Grand Canyon and the Adirondacks. They also enjoyed canoeing and participated in many canoe races.
She enjoyed back-yard croquet with good music and dear friends, splash dancing at the YMCA and especially enjoyed bingo. Alana was also a huge Steelers fan.
Surviving is her daughter, Amanda King Blevins (B.J.); grandchildren, Danica and Charlotte Blevins; brothers, Albert W. Gordon, II (the late Sandra), Adrian J. Gordon (Cheryl) and Alex J. Gordon (Leah), and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are welcome from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, May 11 at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville (724-239-2255), where a Prayer Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 12, 2026 followed at 11 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Katharine Drexel, 126 Church Street, Bentleyville, with the Reverend Michael A. Zavage, as celebrant.
Interment will follow in Buckingham Cemetery, Deemston Borough, Fredericktown.
