Alice L. (Mitchner) Berdine

Alice L. Mitchner Berdine, 91, formerly of Bentleyville, passed away Tuesday morning, April 15, 2025.

She was born August 12, 1933 in California, a daughter of the late George Alroy Mitchner and Lilly Blanch Wells Mitchner.

Alice loved her family, watching TV, especially Little House on the Prairie, and enjoyed crocheting and coloring.

On October 26, 1967, she married Albert William Berdine, who passed away September 14, 1985.

Surviving are her children, Albert "Bill" Berdine (Judi), James Arthur Berdine (Ann), Jerry Allen Berdine, John Newton Berdine, Newton Arthur Berdine (Stephanie), Ray Lee Berdine, Charles A. Berdine (Brenda), Clark A. Berdine, Roy Carl Berdine (Caylix), Susan Jean Leabhart (Paul), Nancy Jane Leasure, and Stacy Lynn Berdine (Jason); 32 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary B. Hewitt, and several nieces and nephews.

Also deceased are two sons, Carl A. Berdine and William Robert Berdine; brothers, Paul R., Thurman T., Sr., Donald G., Charles and William Mitchner and sisters, Betty Mae Lutes and Patricia Thomas.

Family and friends are welcome from 10 am to 12:15 p.m., Monday, April 21, 2025 at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a service will follow at 12:30 p.m. with the Pastor Rick Livingood, officiating.

A procession will follow to Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora for a Committal service.
