Andrew Bly Shemasek, 54, of New Eagle, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at his home.
He was born July 30, 1961 in Monongahela, a son of Lorraine Blackburn Uher of Monongahela and the late John Bly “Jack” Shemasek.
He was a graduate of Charleroi High School and attended WyoTech Mechanics School in Blairsville.
He worked for America’s Best and later for Corning in Charleroi and attended the First Baptist Church in Bentleyville.
Andrew was an avid fan of auto racing.
Surviving are a daughter, Alyssa May Shemasek of Monongahela; son, Jason Shemasek of state of California; his grandson and best buddy who he loved very much, Landen Pusateri; brothers, John Shemasek (Bene) of Stockdale, Joseph Shemasek (Abbey) of E. Liverpool, Ohio and Kim Uher (Rhonda) of Van Voorhis; sisters, Ruth Ann Rodgers (Negley) of Belle Vernon and Katheryn Martens (Chris) of West Lake, Ohio; step-father, Martin Uher of Monongahela; step-mother, Eileen Shemasek of E. Liverpool, Ohio; his dogs, Pierre and Louis and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is his former wife, Lisa Tack Shemasek.
