Angelo Dorazio Obituary
Angelo Dominick Dorazio, 85, of, Bentleyville, died unexpectedly Friday, December 2, 2011 in the Washington Hospital.
He was born December 5, 1925 in Bentleyville, a son of Anthony and Theresa Tegnelia Dorazio.
A Catholic, he lived the majority of his life in Bentleyville.
Following 40 years of service, Mr. Dorazio retired in 1986 from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp., Monessen plant. He was a former member of Local 1229 of Monessen.
A veteran of World War II, he served with the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1946 and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Cecelia Yerace Dorazio, whom he married October 25, 1949 and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, Ralph Dorazio and James Dorazio, Sr.
Friends are welcome from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., Monday, December 5 at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Township.
