Anna Zwirek

Anna Zwirek, 96, of Ellsworth, died Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at the Bentleyville Personal Care Home.

She was born December 14, 1913 in McKees Rocks, Allegheny County, a daughter of Michael and Antonette Kmetyk Zwirek.

She retired from General Electric in Cleveland, Ohio.

For several years, Ms. Zwirek was an active volunteer with the Red Cross in Cleveland.

She was Roman Catholic and a member of Bentworth Senior Citizens.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are three brothers, Joe, John and Walter Zwirek; a sister, Helen Erickson; two half-brothers, Mike and Paul Zwirek and two half-sisters, Catherine Hool and Mary Romansky.

Private services will be held at Beallsville Cemetery with Rev. Gary W. Krummert, pastor of Ave Maria Parish, officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Ave Maria Parish, 126 Church Street, Bentleyville, PA 15314.
