Austin Norquist Obituary

Austin Henry Norquist, 12, of Bentleyville, formerly of Charleroi, died Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. To help others in need, he was an organ donor.

He was born July 7, 2005 in Monongahela Valley Hospital, a son of Henry C. and Rhonda J. Holma Norquist of Bentleyville.

Austin attended school in the Charleroi School District.

He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and dirt bikes and was looking forward to taking his hunting test to begin hunting this fall.

Surviving in addition to his parents are brothers, Cody and Matthew Norquist, both of Bentleyville; paternal grandmother, Audrey Norquist of Bentleyville; maternal grandfather, David Holma of Charleroi and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Deceased are his paternal grandfather, Henry B. Norquist, maternal grandmother, Carol Blackburn Holma and paternal great-grandmother, Frances V. Ramoski Norquist.

Friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, August 28, 2017 with the Rev. Michael R. Beckley, officiating. Interment will follow in Phillipsburg Cemetery, California. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to assist with funeral expenses on Austin’s Go Fund Me Page.
