Beatrice Ann Henderson Godfrey

Beatrice Ann Henderson Godfrey, 49, of Bentleyville, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at the Washington Hospital.

She was born August 2, 1958 in Waynesburg, a daughter of the late Raymond and Naomi Harvey Henderson.

She was a graduate of the Carmichaels High School and a member of the Greene Valley Church of God, Carmichaels.

On May 21, 1977 in Clarksville, she married Larry M. Godfrey, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, George Michael Godfrey and a daughter, Jessica Renee Godfrey, both at home; four brothers, Gene Henderson (Sallie) of Carmichaels, Wayne Henderson (Terrie), Kevin Henderson and Steven Henderson (Yolanda), all of Columbus, Ohio; a sister, Danetta Comer (Bill) of Rices Landing and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a son, Joshua Godfrey and a brother, Gary Henderson.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville (724-239-2255), where services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, June 2, 2008 with the Rev. Michael Wirt, pastor of Greene Valley Church of God, officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
