Bertha Korba Obituary

Bertha E. Thompson Korba, 85, of Eighty Four, Somerset Township, formerly of Cokeburg, died Tuesday morning, September 25, 2012 at her home.

She was born June 27, 1927 in Washington, a daughter of Walter and Leticia Thompson.

Mrs. Korba had worked at the Carlton Motel and as a cook at the Frosty Kiss.

She was a member of Ave Maria Parish.

Her husband, Andrew Charles Korba, died May 20, 1974.

Surviving are a son, Randy C. Korba (Rose Ann) of Eighty Four; granddaughters, Deanna Cheberenchick (David), Christa Brooks and Kayla Brooks; great-grandchildren, Amy and Bella Cheberenchick and Brooklyn Black and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are brothers, Walter and Harry and a sister, Ella.

Friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, September 29 followed at 10 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial in Ave Maria Parish, Bentleyville with the Rev.
