Betty Ann Knox

Betty Ann Harris Knox, 52, of Lone Pine, died 2:44 p.m., Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at UPMC-Presbyterian, Pittsburgh due to injuries received in an auto accident on January 16, 2009.

She was born November 29, 1956 in New Eagle, a daughter of the late Earlo and Betty June Lancaster Harris.

She was a graduate of Bentworth High School.

Betty Ann was the office coordinator for Dr. Kurt King of the Washington Hospital's McMurray office.

She was an organ donor.

On January 24, 1974 at Bentleyville, she married Raymond Knox, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Carrie McLearnon (Tom) of Brogue, Penna. and Malinda Truby of Steubenville, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Autumn, Tommy, Brielle and Alaina McLearnon, Michael, Makayla, Madison and Matthew Truby; five siblings, Barbara Jane Kirn (Edward) of Lone Pine, Earla Jean Anderson of Wooster, Ohio, Earlo Lloyd Harris (Connie) of Warren, Mich., Rawl "Darta€? Harris (Janet) of Ellsworth and Virgil Dennis Harris (Connie) of Ellsworth and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Ellsworth Volunteer Fire Department's Social Hall, Beech Street, Ellsworth with Rev. Andy Scott, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, Bentleyville, officiating. Memorials may be made to Washington County Humane Society, PO Box 66, Eighty Four, PA 15330.
