Carol J. (Bruce) Connelly

Carol J. Bruce Connelly, 79, of Ellsworth passed away Thursday morning, June 9, 2022 in her home.

She was born November 30, 1942 in Charleroi, a daughter of the late John Bruce and Kathryn M. Rodier Bruce.

Mrs. Connelly was a member of the former V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary in Bentleyville.

Surviving are her husband, Clyde Connelly; grandsons Derek Connelly (Christy) of Alabama and Dylan Connelly (Tiffany) of Amity; great-grandchildren, Makayla, Sophia, Fiona, Alayna, Daymon, Hailey, and Leah Connelly; brother, Ronald J. Bruce; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Williams Connelly of Ellsworth and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are her two sons, Carl Odlin Connelly, who passed away January 21, 2012 and Douglas A. Connelly, who passed away December 11, 2021, and sister Maryann Lenio.

Friends are welcome from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 14 with Pastor E. Layman Davis, officiating.

Private interment will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
