Carol Jean Davis Jones, 74, of Canonsburg, passed away Sunday morning, September 4, 2022 at The Grove in Washington.
She was born May 10, 1948 in Beltzhoover, Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Caroline Sarah Davis.
Mrs. Jones worked for TRPIL Voices for Independent Living in Washington as a quality assurance officer.
She was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Bentleyville, United Homecare Workers, United Food Commercial Workers, SEIU 1199 and the United Mine Workers of America.
Her husband, Richard James Jones, passed away January 1, 2017.
Surviving are her children, Michele Davis of Marianna and James Davis of Colorado; grandchildren, Antonio Davis, Sr. (Amber), Deion Bricker (Ava) and Ciara Swoger; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Judge W. Moore of Canonsburg and Pastor Edwin L. Davis, Sr. (Loretta) of Marianna; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a daughter, CarMelitta Davis; son John Davis; sister, Julia Davis and brothers, Horch G. Perkins, Martin J. Erby and Willis H. Moore.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a Homegoing Service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, September 9, 2022 with the Reverend Dr. James C. Cherry, officiating.
At a later date, private interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
