Charles Teagarden

Charles Kenneth Teagarden, Jr., 69, of Ellsworth, passed away Saturday morning, June 20, 2026, in his home.

He was born August 7, 1956, a son of Charles Kenneth Teagarden, Sr. and Polly Ann Phillips Teagarden.

He was a 1975 graduate of the California High School.

A coal miner most of his working career, Charles worked for Vesta 4 and Maple Creek mines, and also Davey Tree Service and Asplundh Tree Service.

A handyman, he enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing and gardening.

Surviving are his wife, Diane Kerns Teagarden; daughter Amanda Rossi of California, and her children Aubrey and Luca Rossi, who Charles loved spending time with; siblings, Bonnie Parkinson (Bill) of Louisiana, Kathy Shutsy (Jerry) of Latrobe, and Randy Teagarden of St. Augustine, Florida, and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased is a son, Brandon Teagarden

Friends are welcome from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a Blessing service will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2026 with Reverend Michael A. Zavage.

Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
