Clyde A. Weber, 81, of Scenery Hill, died Saturday morning, August 17, 2013 at the Washington County Health Center.
He was born December 17, 1931 in Pittsburgh, a son of William L. Weber, Sr. and Anna Price Weber.
He attended St. Henry's and St. Michael's schools and graduated from Carnegie Tech, all in Pittsburgh.
A chemist, Mr. Weber worked for Valspar Corporation in Pittsburgh where he was in charge of developing ultra violet curing.
He was a member of Memory Chapel in Vanceville and was the former president of the American Boxwood Society.
On April 26, 1998 at Memory Chapel, he married Betty L. Thompson Weber, who survives.
Also surviving are two children, Lisa Noll (Jeffrey) of Simpsonville, South Carolina and Michael Weber (Laura) of Scenery Hill; four grandchildren, Jacob and Rachel Noll and Hunter and Colton Weber; sister, Laverne Moreno (Ed) of Pittsburgh; brothers, William Weber, Jr. (Jane) of Maryland and Ronald Weber (Charlotte) of Pittsburgh; step-sons, Curtis Thompson, Kenneth Thompson and Scott Thompson; several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Deceased are his first wife, Janet R. Weber; sister, Carol Brown (the late Edward) and step-son, Kevin Thompson.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday August 21 with David Hall, officiating. Interment will follow in James Chapel Cemetery, Finleyville.
