Daniel Alexander

Daniel W. Alexander, 69, of Fallowfield Township, Charleroi, died Saturday afternoon, October 20, 2018 at the Monongahela Valley Hospital with his family at his side.

He was born June 14, 1949 in Ellsworth, a son of Adam and Catherine Rusilko Alexander.

A graduate of Bentworth High School, he worked as a mechanic for Bethlehem Mines and later Consol.

During the Vietnam War, Mr. Alexander served from December 1968 to September 1970 with the U.S. Navy.

He was a member of the Eagles 1809 in Bentleyville.

His wife, Rita Sindrich Alexander survives. They were married October 14, 1978 in Bentleyville.

Also surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Chad Finley of Houston, Texas; a sister, Kathryn Garg of Humble, Texas and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased is a sister, Joyce Alexander.
