Darryl D'Vorchak Obituary

Darryl Joseph D'Vorchak, 50, of Bentleyville, died unexpectedly Monday, September 22, 2008 at Southwest Regional Medical Center emergency department, Waynesburg.


He was born October 4, 1957 in North Charleroi, a son of Lillian Korba D'Vorchak of Bentleyville and the late Joseph A. D'Vorchak.


Darryl was currently employed by Crockett's Construction of Scenery Hill.


He was a former member of the Bentleyville Volunteer Fire Department.


Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Thomas Holman of Bentleyville and his godmother, Veronica D'Vorchak.


Deceased are his paternal grandparents, John and Anna D'Vorchak; maternal grandparents, Tom and Josephine Korba and his godfather, John Korba.


Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville (724-239-2255). Additional visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon, Saturday, September 27 at Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church, 828 Meadow Ave., Charleroi followed by Funeral Liturgy at noon with Father James Ragan, as celebrant. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Carroll Township. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church, 828 Meadow Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022.
