Dolores Ann Sizemore Huseman, 88, of Brownsville (formerly of Bentleyville) passed away peacefully at the home of her devoted daughter, Kathleen, on Wednesday, October 12, 2011.
She was born June 23, 1923 in Godfrey, Armstrong County, a daughter of George A. and Elizabeth Hillwig Sizemore.
Mrs. Huseman resided in the Bentleyville-Ellsworth area most of her life.
On September 27, 1947, at the First Presbyterian Church, Bentleyville, she married the love of her life, Harold K. âAceâ Huseman, who passed away on August 4, 1994.
Mrs. Huseman was a devoted wife and mother of seven children. She was a loving and caring grandmother and great grandmother. Her pride and joy was spending time with her family.
She enjoyed attending The Center in the Woods Adult Day Care Program.
She loved all types of music and singing, had a fondness for all animals and in her younger years enjoyed gardening. She had a special gift of touching everyoneâs hearts.
Surviving are her children, Mary Lou (Robert) Anders of Owego, NY, Daniel Huseman of California, PA, Jo-Ellen (James) Heptinstall of Delmar, NY, Cliff (Lynn) Huseman of Washington, Russell Huseman of Fredericktown and Kathleen (Jeffrey) Miller of Brownsville. 14 Grandchildren, Michelle Anders, Daniel Huseman, Tammy (Daniel) Sturchak, Jennifer (Daniel) Oshetsky, Jonathan McCardle, Ryan Heptinstall, Kristie and Shiann Huseman, Jordan and Dylan Huseman, Katelyn, Madelyn, and Kenneth Miller, and Helene Huseman and seven Great-grandchildren.
The family especially appreciates her special caregivers Lori Ivery and granddaughters Tammy and Jennifer, The Staff at ADC Center in the Woods, Floâs Personal Care Home, Doctor K. Gosai and Staff who gave her much comfort and love.
Mrs. Huseman was the last of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Harold T. âBuddyâ Huseman, brothers Talmadge and Ted Sizemore, Charles, Millard, and Delbert Bunting, sisters Georgianne Tolle, Gladys Shartzer, Ruth Goodcell, Mamie Clipper, and Elizabeth Bunting.
Friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, October 17, 2011, with Dr. John K. Smith and Rev. Scott Gallagher, officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
