Donald C. Comfort

Donald C. Comfort, 69, of California, passed away Saturday morning, December 6, 2025 at UPMC - Washington Hospital.

He was born February 4, 1956 in Washington, a son of the late Frank Comfort, Sr. and Sarah "Sally" Reinher Comfort.

Don was a graduate of the Trinity High School and the Washington Institute of Technology.

For 15 years, he worked for Sabina Manufacturing in Lawrence as a machinist. He also worked in the sporting goods department for Walmart in Washington.

Surviving are his wife, Donna Jean Ball Comfort; daughters, Denise Lewis (Chris) of Eighty Four and Deanna Comfort of California; grandchildren, Dakota Lewis (Julia), Chase Lewis and Justin Staley, Jr.; brothers, Frank Comfort, Jr. (Candelaria) of New Mexico, Michael Comfort (Vickey) of Arizona, and Robert Comfort (Tina) of Washington, and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased is a sister, Sherry Lynn Comfort Woody.

Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a service will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, December 10, 2025 with Pastor Linda Mankey, officiating.
