Doris Lucille Sebetich

Doris Lucille Godfrey Sebetich, 84, of Cokeburg Junction, Ellsworth, died Friday, February 16, 2007, at Donnell House.

She was born January 4, 1923 in Eldora, a daughter of John and Margaretta Rishert Godfrey.

She was the beloved mother of four daughters Erma Ray (Johnnie) of Alabama, Doris Poskon (Francis) of Washington, Nancy Woods (Bob Geisler) of Fredericktown and Rose Sebetich of Marianna; a son David Sebetich of Cokeburg Junction.

She was the cherished grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are a brother Willard Godfrey (Elizabeth) of Stockdale; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are three sons Nicholas, Franklin and John Sebetich (the twin brother of Doris Poskon); three brothers, Robert and Arnold Godfrey and Fred West; six sisters, Elsie Alger, Winifred Davidson, Frances Lucy, Margaret Ellis, Sara West Simmons and Martha Prentice; and one grandson, Jeffrey Clay Ray.

Friends received at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc. 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2007, the hour of service. Private interment in Beallsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society/PA Division, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
