Dorothy âDotâ M. Fatula Robaugh, 76, of Cokeburg, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 13, 2012 at Kindred Hospital in Oakdale with her family at her side.
She was born on December 22, 1935 in Nanty Glo, Cambria County, a daughter of John and Velma Rager Fatula.
On May 25, 1957 in Winchester, Virg., she married Harry J Robaugh, who preceded her in death on January 28, 2010. In 2007 they celebrated 50 years of marriage with a surprise party given by their children.
Mrs. Robaugh was a devoted homemaker, wife and mother.
She loved God and her church, the Christian Assembly of God in Bentleyville, where she was a member for 65 years serving as a former Greeter and Decoration coordinator. She shared in fellowship with the Womenâs Ministry and Secret Sister Ministry.
She was a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union, St. George Lodge 354 in Cokeburg and was a member of the St. George Jr. Tamburitzan Parents Organization. She was often seen in the kitchen of the Croatian club, cooking with her husband by her side washing the dishes.
She was a member of the Bentleyville Lioness Club. She had been active in the Girl Scouts of America, and served many years as a troop leader, was past Bentworth PTA and Bentworth Band Booster member. She was a faithful supporter of many of the Bentworth Youth Sports.
Mrs. Robaugh enjoyed music, traveling with her family, shopping and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was faithfully seen and heard cheering at their sporting events. She was always heard saying, âHave I told you lately that I love you?â, âglad you met meâ and always called her husband, âHarry who?â
She was preceded in death by daughters, Wilma Lee Amos and Mary Jane Robaugh; brothers, John Fatula Jr. and Fred Eimer.
She is survived by her sisters, Jane Fatula Krupa of Florida and Velma Rager of Nanty Glo; a brother, Robert Hohn (Fran) of Bentleyville; beloved children, Patricia Ann Sabo (William) of Coal Center, Robin Bell (Edward) of Scenery Hill and Eric J. Robaugh (Nancy) of Canonsburg; cherished grandchildren, Shaun Grimes of Bentleyville, Tifani Russell Dees (Bryan) of Charleroi, Randy J. Russell (Tara) of Hinesville, Georgia, Ty, Adam and Michael Bell, all of Scenery Hill, Isabella and Brady Robaugh of Canonsburg, Kriste Bostich Smitley and Brandon Bostich, both of Bentleyville and several great-grandchildren.
Friends welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville (724-239-2255) and from 2 to 3 p.m., the hour of service on Tuesday, July 17 at the Christian Assembly of God, 100 Meadow Drive, Bentleyville with Pastor Paul Peternel, officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christian Assembly of God, 100 Meadow Drive, Bentleyville, PA 15314.
