Dwayne David "Doc" Mitchner, 49, of Eighty Four (Ontario), died unexpectedly Thursday, February 3, 2011
He was born September 13, 1961 in Brownsville, a son of the late George D. and Geneva Sethman Mitchner.
He was employed by Bob Stish Heating and Cooling, Bentleyville and previously worked at 84 Lumber Truss Building Components, Coal Center.
Doc was the guitar player for the Rusty Cage band.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, was avid pool player and outdoorsman.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 165, Polish Club and the Independent Club, all of Bentleyville and the Cokeburg Moose 1625.
Surviving are two special friends, Lisa Barney of Eighty Four (Ontario) and Janet Reese of Cokeburg; a daughter, Bethney Mitchner of Eighty Four (Ontario); a brother, Donald H. Mitchner (Loretta) of Coal Center; sisters, Yvonne Jarvis and Georgette Wilson, both of Bentleyville, Connie King (Bruce) and Dionne Ambler, all of Brownsville and Jackie Krivda (Ron) of Coal Center and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to his parents is an infant brother, Robert Lee Mitchner.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 5 at the American Legion Post 165, 500 Main Street, Bentleyville.
