Edith Riggle Obituary
Edith E. Kearns Riggle, 81, of Bentleyville, passed away Wednesday evening, January 6, 2021 at the Monongahela Valley Hospital.
She was born October 22, 1939 in Carroll Township, a daughter of Dewey Ray and Clara Eliza Williams Kearns.
Mrs. Riggle was a member of Edward's Chapel, Ginger Hill and was a former secretary for Lilliput Play Homes.
Her husband, Donald K. Riggle, passed away March 10, 2019.
Surviving is a son Donald K. Riggle, Jr. of Bentleyville and several nieces and nephews.
She was the last of her immediate family.
Deceased are a son, Roy Ray Riggle and four brothers, Russell Kearns, Clair Kearns, Wilber Kearns and Harry Kearns.
Friends are welcome from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday, January 10, 2021 at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255. Her funeral service will follow the visitation with the Rev. Richard Roberts officiating.
Interment will follow in Maple Creek Cemetery, Fallowfield Township.
Due to the current limitations on gatherings, visitors to the funeral home will be restricted to 25 at a time. Facial covering and social distancing are required.
