Eleanor "Cookie" M. Kramer King, 92, of Bentleyville, passed away Monday evening, May 5, 2025 at The Residence at Hilltop, Monongahela.
She was born November 5, 1932 in Ellsworth, a daughter of the late Matthew, Sr., and Anna Hudak Kramer.
Cookie was a member of the Saint Katharine Drexel Parish, the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Dolores 1675, the Bentleyville Democratic Women's Club, and the Croatian Fraternal Union St. George Lodge 354, Cokeburg.
She enjoyed the Meadows Casino and playing Bingo.
On November 22, 1952, in the former St. Luke Church, Bentleyville, she married George L. King, who passed away May 21, 2006.
Surviving are two children, Judith King Arendas, and William G. King; three grandsons, Jason E. Arendas, Matthew E. King (Stefanie) and Tyree Williamson; sister, Kathryn Kramer, and several nieces and nephews.
Also deceased are her brothers, George Kramer, and Matthew "Mutta" Kramer, and sisters, Ann Pandrock and Helen Dorazio.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, May 10, 2025, followed at 10 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Katharine Drexel, Bentleyville Campus, 126 Church Street, Bentleyville, with the Reverend Edward L. Yuhas, as celebrant.
A procession will follow to Buckingham Cemetery, Deemston Borough for the Rite of Committal service.
The Catholic Daughters of the Americas will pray the Rosary at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
