Eleanor Haddad Wright

Eleanor Haddad Wright, 84, of Bentleyville, died Sunday, November 2, 2008 at her home.

She was born July 11, 1924 in Bentleyville, a daughter of John and Jennie Mahfood Haddad.

She was a 1942 graduate of the Bentleyville High School.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bentleyville.

Mrs. Wright enjoyed bowling at Tan-O-Bell Lanes in Bentleyville and playing bingo.

On June 17, 1949, she married Hugh W. Wright, who died April 22, 1998.

Surviving are her children, Barry H. Wright (wife Linda), Bradley A. Wright and Lynn Pompei (husband Ty), all of Bentleyville; six grandchildren, Jae, Brian and Jeffrey Wright and Tammy, Ty and Taylor Pompei; a sister, Jennie Braun of state of California; a brother, Joed Haddad (wife Wanda) of Bentleyville and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are two sisters, Genevieve Essey and Minnie Koltash and a brother, Louis E. Haddad.

Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville (724-239-2255), where services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, November 6, 2008 with the Rev. Andy Scott, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.
