Emily Bushick Obituary
Emily L. Vanicheck Bushick, 87, of Washington, formerly or Bentleyville, died Friday evening, November 9, 2012 at the Washington County Health Center.
She was born July 3, 1925, a daughter of William and Mary Lanik Vanicheck.
A retired bookkeeper, she worked for the former American Truck Stop in Bentleyville and the former Colonial Meadows in Charleroi.
Mrs. Bushick attended the Faith Community Church in McMurray.
Through her adult life, she was a selfless person, who was more concerned with taking care of other family members. Her love, dedication and acts of kindness touched her family and will never be forgotten.
On January 4, 1946 in Charleroi, she married Richard R. Bushick, who died April 2, 2002.
Surviving are a son, Richard S. Bushick of Morrisville, North Carolina; a daughter, Barbara J. Bushick of Washington; two granddaughters, Kristy L. McGavitt and Bethany A. Montecalvo (Zackary Montecalvo) and a brother, Joseph Vanicheck of Eighty Four.
Deceased is a brother Gerald Vanicheck.
Private services will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela. Memorial contributions may be made to the Washington County Food Bank, 1020 Route 519, Eighty Four, PA 15330.
