Ernestine (Palanzo) Theakston

Ernestine Palanzo Theakston, 74, of Charleroi, passed away Thursday morning, September 4, 2025, with her family by her side, at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.

She was born December 27, 1950 in Monessen, a daughter of the late William Palanzo and Lydia Rachael Leone Palanzo.

Ernestine retired from Amedisys Hospice, and was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Parish in Monessen.

Surviving are her daughter, Ashley Sabo (James) and grandchildren, Christopher and Megan Sabo.

Deceased is her husband, William Theakston.

At Ernestine's request, services will be private.
