Gertrude Krisko Burgan, 84, of Eighty Four, Somerset Township, died Monday afternoon, June 29, 2015 at her home.
She was born June 8, 1931 in Charleroi, a daughter of John and Katherine Heisler Krisko.
Mrs. Burgan was a graduate of Charleroi High School.
For over 40 years, she was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish, Washington.
A homemaker, she helped on the family farm and formerly worked for Lindenwood Golf Course, RCA and Westinghouse.
On November 10, 1961, she married John S. Burgan, who died August 4, 2006.
Surviving are two sons, John A. Burgan and Bob Burgan, both of Eighty Four and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are brothers, Rudolph, and Ivan Nemcheck, John and Bernard Krisko and sisters, Christine Krisko and Elizabeth Pianowski.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 2, 2015 for a Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Church, Washington with the Reverend Pat Barkey, as celebrant.
