Gilbert Cicci

Gilbert Anthony Cicci, 82, of Bentleyville, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, July 10, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his three children, Lisa Liberatore, Tony Cicci (Lisa), and Samantha Cicci; eight cherished grandchildren: Bobby Plutch (Samantha), Dominique Liberatore, Dominic Cicci (Heavyn), George Liberatore (Jordan), Victoria Cicci, Meghan Cicci, Olivia Childs, and Marina Childs; as well as four beloved great-grandchildren, and sisters, Anna Marie Kirgan and Denise Perchinsky.

Gilbert was preceded in death by his father, Mayday Cicci; his mother, Mary Cicci; his brother, Richard Cicci; and his longtime partner, Sandy McFeely.

A proud veteran, Gilbert served his country honorably in the United States Navy with dedication, courage, and compassion.

Following his military service, he spent the majority of his career as a machinist with National Carbide Die.

Above all else, Gilbert treasured his family and took great pride in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. An avid hunter and fisherman, he found his greatest joy in the outdoors-whether gathered around a roaring campfire, caring for his chickens, or spending time at his camp. His quiet strength, love of nature, and devotion to those he loved will be remembered always.

Gilbert will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, where a prayer service will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

A procession will follow to Sacred Heart Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion Post 165 of Bentleyville and the U.S Navy.
